- Currywurst is the spice of life
Went here on my citytrip and got out at Gleisenaustrasse. The currywurst tastes like the 'real' thing. The menu has changed, but the vegan menu is still part of what they offer. The vegan menu consists of a vegan currywurst, a portion of fries, a glass of any drink you want (self-service), and a lot of either ketchup or vegan (!) mayonnaise. Service was impeccable, and spoke both English and German. Easy to walk past but oh so nice and will definitely eat here for the rest of my life if possible. The vegan currywurst was truly extra lecker, how hard is it to come across a 'wurst' and to be able to eat it without feeling guilty? Well, I got some news, here in Berlin, it's easy.
