  • A great lunch place while out sightseeing

Hermitage is located on a popular and beautiful street in Stockholm's old town in an area called Gamla Stan. We went for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed what was on offer. Lunch (and dinner) consists of a buffet selection. We had some very tasty salad selections including a delicious vegan potato salad. We also had some excellent hot food which, on that day, were large balls (similar to falafel) containing (what i think was) veg suet and a variety of vegetables. There is a different hot special on a daily basis - sometimes it is vegan and sometimes just vegetarian. A great laid-back atmosphere inside with plump cushions and warming Scandinavian pine. It does get busy, but we went for a late lunch around 2pm and didn't have a problem getting a table. Lunch was 90SEK.
