- Just A Joy
This is literally my partner's favourite restaurant in Edinburgh. The staff are always incredibly friendly, we love the colourful decor, and the food is just great. I think we tried most things on their menu, and didn't dislike a single thing - and then the menu changed because the season changed, so we haven't tried everything yet. As students, it's a little too pricey for us to go as often as we'd like, but it's our first choice for a treat. It's also a huge relief for my vegan partner to not have to ask questions about the menu, because we know she can have anything. The desserts are especially great, the chocolate mousse is just the best. Also try the affogato.
