- Not really impressed
We went here after reading some really good reviews from people saying this is the best vegan burger they've had. A few bad points: -The fryer was broken - so no fries. They had posted on their Facebook that they had made some backup potato salad, but they were out (6:30pm and they close at 8pm). Ok.. how about potato chips? Almost all were past expiration.. they gave us the one bag that wasn't (paprika flavored). -They had enough vegan cheese for one burger (again 630pm and they close at 8pm). According to my wife who had that one, the cheese was flavorless. -My burger was dry.. almost to the point of crumbly. I had the BBQ with the Sweet Monkey relish. The BBQ flavor was baked into burger patty, which is a neat idea. On the plus side the prices were reasonable $180 kr for two burgers, a bag of chips and two Fritz colas; and the neighborhood is lined with other restaurants and shops to browse.. and for literary buffs the cemetery that Hans Christian Anderson (amongst others) is buried in is a couple blocks down the street.. we made a stop by there:) I really wanted to like this place as their partner vegan supermarket has great reviews and my wife likes it.
