  • Minimalist, Bland and Overpriced

We came here because, relatively speaking, the dishes were inexpensive compared to other veg Indian eateries in the area; and discovered that this was because each 'dish' was nothing more than an appetiser. At 20 THB a plate - almost the price of a local meal - we expected the serving of rice to be an adequate amount, but were forced to order several chappattis (also tiny) to accompany the child's-size servings of 'curry'. As if that wasn't disappointing enough, the meals were fairy tasteless and uninspired - worse than anything I've ever made at home - and the vegetable curry, which the owner described as being composed of capsicum and other vegetables, consisted of only diced carrot and beans (COMPLETELY DEVOID OF CAPSICUM!!!), and contained enough salt to float Donald Trump's corpse. To top it off, the owner attempted to rip us off when paying the bill - adding a mysterious 25% to the plain rice, and additional 12% 'VAT' - neither of which appear on the menu. If you are game to dine at this place, make sure you check every item on the bill. Updated from previous review on 2017-02-03
