- Some Vegan Options
Went there tonight and pleasantly surprised to see 2 Tempeh sandwiches on the menu. One was the Rueben and the other a burger. I ordered the Rueben but had to hold the swiss cheese and sauce. The waitress was alert enough to tell me the sauce wasn't vegan when I asked if there was a vegan "cheese" substitute. She brought some French's mustard and I was happy. My question is why would there be a partial vegan sandwich with Tempeh? If they're trying to have vegan options, make the whole sandwich vegan, no? Maybe just trying to make a vegetarian happy... but now time to go the extra mile for us vegans..Anyway, glad to see some vegan options even if they needed to be tweaked.
