- Great menu, great staff
Near Division del Norte Metro station. Teas, coffees, special coffees and flavourings, agua del día (papaya today), breakfasts include cereals and omelettes. Main dishes ($55-95) include soup, gnocchi pesto, pad thai, a raw dish, quinoa salad ($85), roasted vegetables, tempeh mole, enchiladas, chilaquilas and quiche. Desserts ($30-65) include strawberries with cream, pastries ($15), capirotada (pastry with raisins and cheese, $50), yogurt parfait ($55). An outdoor patio surrounds a big palm tree. Half of the patio is under cover. Complimentary bread is served with a spicy sunflower-seed topping. Upbeat music was playing. I had the very good paella ($95): rice, saffron, red and green pepper, green peas, veg sausage/ham. I finished with the yogurt parfait – strawberries and some chocolate syrup drizzled over. And I took away for next day’s lunch the quinoa salad, which was tasty. (I think the strawberries in the parfait should be chopped up, not whole.)
