  • My kind of Venue

Stereo is quite simply a superb venue. The first time we went was on a Saturday night at around 21:00 expecting to have a meal. It was so busy there were people queuing outside. Inside people were having food but it was far too busy. Apparently there was also a music event on which explained the crowds. We decided to go to The 13th Note vegetarian bar that evening instead. The next time we went to Stereo was on a Sunday afternoon and it was a much more relaxed experience. Although we didn't eat having already been to Tchai Ovna vegetarian tea house earlier the food looked truly excellent and certainly of and above restaurant standards. There is a great atmosphere, we could have stayed all day but had to get a train back to England. If you want to see some examples of the food on offer simply do a search on 'stereo glasgow vegan' on flickr dot com. I am sure you will be impressed. Glasgow has a wealth of vegan venues, it is also very worth while considering 'Mono' (Stereo's sister) and 'The 78'.
