- Somewhat pretentious
We ate here twice on our recent visit to Mendocino, once for dinner and once for breakfast. While the food was good, the portions were small and the dishes overpriced. I had a spinach souffle appetizer that almost needed a magnifying glass to be seen! The service wasn't great. My husband ordered a large grapefruit juice,and the waiter gave him a glass containing at most 4 ounces of juice. He called the waiter over, and asked if that was the large size. The waiter said no, and replace it, but offered no apology. I found the restaurant rather pretentions. I would go back if I'm in the area only because it's the only game in town.
