i LOVE everything about uncle van! Especially that you tick all the veg that you're in the mood for - that way any dish can be different than the one before. All their sauces are vegan - and sound delicious (I haven't tried all of them yet). I appreciate that all the food is fresh and freshly prepared, too! I've never had a meal there that I didn't like. Prices are extremely low for Salzburg! My food is usually about 5 Euro (that includes rice/noodles, veg and the sauce). Van (the owner) himself and all the people working there are super nice. there's a really nice atmosphere going on. Unfortunately, the retaurant itself is rather small, so you may not be lucky in catching a seat. BUT the location is right in the city centre, near the river and you can take out the food and enjoy it in a beautiful surrounding :)
