• Fabulous Bistro Nights

Friday and Saturday nights are Bistro Nights from 7pm onwards. The fixed price menu £10.00 per head (at time of writing)is excellent value for money and in our opinion too cheap for the quality and quantity of food you get. The menu offers 4 starters, 4 main courses and 4 deserts on a rotating 3 week menu. For example Starter - Cherry Toms panfried in balsamic vinegar and honey served with toasted muffins and feta. Main - Creamy veg bake with cheesy crumble served with steamed veg or salad and chunky chips or garlic bread. Sweet - Coconut cream in a brandy snap basket. All appear to be homemade and cooked to order. The premises are not licensed so bring your own alcoholic drinks. Surroundings are very pleasant and the owner who also served and cooked and washed up! was helpful and attentive. Booking is a must as the cafe only seats around 20 diners. During the day the cafe also sells a very interesting range of vegetarian sandwich fillings and quiches.
