  • Good area to eat and buy healthy food.

Just came back from buying my weekly organic vegetables and fruit in the small grocery stores. Some kitchens sell their dishes on the street at the moment because everyone had to move out from the houses in the short alley in front of the Santi Asoke temple. Later I try to get more information about. There are many small shops and kitchens around the temple which focus on healthy/natural products. For those who like to stay in Thailand among Thais and want to cook their own food I can recommend to stay in one of the basic hotels (500-600 Baht) in Happyland. It is a 10 minutes bicycle or 5 minutes taxi ride away from the vegetarian/organic products area. The temple garden/jungle behind the shops invites to relax in it. It's a relaxed oasis for escaping Bangkok's stinky and loud roads for a while. Updated from previous review on Sunday March 27, 2016
