• Don't trust this place to be open, phone first!

We cycled across London in the cold and even some rain to try out this place. The description sounded good but it wasn't open. The sign inside the cafe said open, the opening times on the scrap of paper by the door said it should be open till 6pm, the FB page says only till 5pm on Sunday but we were there at 3pm, and waited around for 10 mins just incase they had popped out for supplies (no sign to suggest that but we were so in need of vegan sustenance! We knocked so loudly that the guy from the flat above came down and apologised that the cafe was closed but explained that it has nothing to do with him. So I would strongly recommend before you trek all the way out along the Roman Road to this place just because the FB page says it is open, phone first and get them to promise not to let you down like they did us. The days of veggie cafes being run by unreliable hippies has not after all entirely gone!
