• Nice vegan food

We first tried the other Indian restaurant Zeyka, which has better reviews on tripadvisor but we actually liked the taste of the food at Maharaja better. It tastes of more - our food was pretty delicious actually. Their menu is really confusing though (one menu was different from the other) and it has so many dishes both vegan and vegetarian that it is confusing to look at. Nice with much to choose from though! :-) They write they have marked the vegan dishes but be aware - when you read through the ingredient listed they are not vegan but vegetarian. We ended up simply explaining to the waiter that we were vegan and she understood immediately and made sure we got our dishes veganized. Their vegan mock meat is good. Don't go there for the atmosphere. It's placed in the outdoor mall Yumbo Centre which is not very cosy.
