Hello to all cows! This is a very nice and place to have good food. It's simple, but fast served, tasty, not too expensive and the owners are friendly people. The ingrediënts that they don't know the right English word for, they'll grab those out of the shop and show them to you. And if you still can't manage, Turkish shopvisitors will be willing to help, to translate your dinner-order. Besides that, if you ate some new ingrediënt you liked, you can buy it in the shop right away. The best thing about eating at Balya is that you sit on one of three small 2-person tables, in the middle of a small grocery shop, with makes it a special experience. I recommend this place to everybody visiting Istanbul. The lentil-soup and the vegoburger are the only things we tried, they're very good. You should go there and try some more of their products and let us know! :)
