While traveling through the area, I wanted to take the opportunity to swing by this place after having read about it online. This was much easier said than done. The directions I had (which were obtained from another website) were rather vague and also completely off kilter. After stopping for directions I made it to the market & was delightfully surprised at what I found. The deli was humming with business & had a variety of menu items but a limited grab & go section. Sporting a salad bar, olive bar, & wide variety of freshly baked as well as international/unusual breads, this market would be an ideal spot to shop for an impromptu picnic. The health & body section was small but well stocked with a small selection of varied items. The holistic health/books section seemed limited mainly to gift-type books. Throughout the store locally made/crafted products can be found & add to the community vibe of this market. Produce section was small but vibrant & plentiful. A great coffee selection is to be found here with far-trade & equal opp. products abounding. Store also hosts an impressive selection of vegan candy & goodies & vegan baked items in the deli. The staff here is cheery & eager to help, after requesting a product they no longer carried (vegan marshmallows), they offered to order it for me.
