• Great All Vegan Grocery in an Unlikely Location

This tidy, well-stocked all vegan grocery is a site for sore eyes in this tiny northwoods town. To be fair, there is a pasty shop nearby that offers vegan pasties and the random vegan item on several local restaurant menus. But, really, City Green Market is a delightful find. Nut cheeses, cosmetics, sweet treats, canned veggies, cereal, and classic vegan books can all be purchased in this store. They allow special ordering of products they don't carry in the store and are open to suggestions of new products to carry. The owners are long-time vegans who are raising a vegan son. They are always willing to share recipe ideas, discuss the vegan lifestyle and support both new and continuing vegans on their journey. Plan to stop in the next time you are in Negaunee.
