- Unique & Tasty!
Wild Rice has a unique & diverse menu with very little crossover with other local vegan or vegetarian places. and the food is great! They have options like hash-brown waffles, avocado toast, savory pancakes & guilt-free omelet (made with chickpea flour), the latter 2 Indian influenced. There are plenty of gluten-free options, but also some dishes with regular bread. I think this is my favorite brunch place in Boston. On the downside, the service is erratic (2 of my 4 visits had good service, the other 2 not so much). & parking is difficult (either you park in Target's lot or some other street - no parking at/near the restaurant). Portion size is a little small so if you're really hungry you may want to get 2 things. -- That said, they just started (soft opening until this weekend), so I expect they will get better & hope to update this review to 5 stars later. Pankaj, the owner, is great & this place is definitely worth checking out. just bring your patience.
