- A quality cafe
The arrival of the Townhouse has signified Bunbury's developing "vegan-friendliness". The Townhouse would be well located in Melbourne, and yet, it has opened in Bunbury to deliver quality food with substance and flavour. The labelling of vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options shows that the popularity of plant based cuisine is growing. On my first trip to the townhouse I enjoyed the monkey burger, which consisted of a (delicious) veggie patty, lettuce, vegan mayo, peanut butter and banana, served with a side of vegan crisps. This was from the lunch menu and oh my goodness did it satisfy! Although a bit on the expensive side, the quality of service is worth the money spent. Also on offer is an array of drinks, raw cheesecake (when available) and the tofu scramble for vegans, as well as acai bowl for vegetarians. The space is quite small so be prepared to sit tight or have to wait for a table during "brunch hours"
