After walking around for hours trying to find something vegan ( that was not just white flour and tomato sauce) in the thousands of tourist tavernas in Rome, finding Bibliothe was like coming home to a dear friend that you haven't seen in years. I went there with my vegetarian boyfriend, and they took my veganism very seriously, carefully explaining what in the menu was and wasn't vegan. We ordered a menu plus a coupple of extra dishes, and had a feast. Service was a little slow but we could see the cooks working busily in the kitchen and we could taste that the food was made with love. Even though only one of us ordered a set meny, which included a drink and tea, this was served to both of us with no extra charge. I can definitively reccomend Bibliothe to vegans, and I especially reccomend the hummus with an Indian touch of garam masala. Delicious :)
