  • A great place for Western-style vegetarian brunch in the area

There are several good veggie restaurants around, including excellent Da Fang, but we couldn't find anywhere for breakfast until coming across this place. It's open from 10:30 and serves tastiest falafel, hummus and labneh I've ever had in any country. One can have them as an individual dish served with bread and salad, in a wrap or as a sandwich. Portions are very generous and nicely presented. There are some other veggie Mediterranean / Middle Eastern dishes on the menu, I've posted photos of the menu board. For lunch / dinner they have veggie salads, soups and Chana masala curry. We haven't tried them as were always there for breakfast, but others say they're delicious, too. Their coffee is also very good and moderately priced at 20 yuan for a cup of latte or cappuccino. Overall, we used to pay around 130 yuan for a large filling breakfast for two. There's no sign board outside the place, but it's accurately located on the map. The atmosphere is laid back and there's an outside seating area. There's a small library to browse while waiting for your order.
