  • A long way to go

Pricey, small menu and serves. Balsamic has only had a vegan menu for a few weeks now, they clearly need some input to expand the menu and also need to put some more effort in. We had a Bruschetta pizza ($15) which used Lebanese bread for a base (generally $1 or $2 for a pack at fruit & veg markets etc). We also ordered Napoli Gnocchi ($20), which did not appear to be Napoli when it came out, we queried this and waited for the staff member to query the kitchen and get back to us. A few minutes later we saw her serving another table. We left our table and went to pay/leave (Gnocchi uneaten). The staff member then assured us that it was indeed Napoli and that it was brown due to the tomato paste that they use. We were not charged for the Gnocchi, but the staff member did try to charge us more than the menu price for the (already well over-priced) Bruschetta pizza.
