• Good but not exceptional, except the burger

Saveurs VegetHalles is conveniently located near the shopping mall Les Halles. Hence the name of course. We went there for lunch, after a morning of shopping. The menu consists mainly of mock meats, something I'm not very fond of. The burger seemed to be very popular (almost everyone was having it), so my boyfriend went for that. It was absolutely delicious! I went for the crevettes with pineapple in citronella sauce. They came with quinoa, mashed potatoes, mushrooms and a few leaves of salad. The dish was ok but less flavourful than I had hoped. The service was friendly and very "zen". There were a lot of clearly marked vegan and some gluten free dishes. In conclusion, it was a nice place to eat, with plenty of choice. A bit too much mock meat to my taste, but good, decent dishes. Except the burger. That one is exceptional ;-)
