Maybe I've been spoiled by Toronto's excellent Indian restaurants. I just wasn't impressed with Pushap. Yes, it's cheap. But there's no reason the quality should be low and honestly I thought it to be so. I had their lunch special thali plate, which everyone seems to order and I found the flavour of the curry was lacking (just mostly a lot of heat). I also found it to be very oily and it sat in my stomach for many hours afterwards (and not in a pleasant way). The place was packed full of people, so it had a nice lunchtime crowd ambience in spite of the middle-of-nowhere location. The service was alright. It's cash only so come prepared.
