  • Loads of veggie and vegan options!

Only one fewer veggie burgers than non-veggie. All the veggie burgers can be made vegan without the cheese, and by substituting a white olive bun for the brown one (which contains lactose), but the staff are really knowledgeable about it. Starters include battered onion rings, battered vegetable tempura (which is peppers, onion and courgette), and crispy potato chips/crisps (although the latter come with the burgers anyway). There is also a vegan salad available. You normally get a garlic mayo dip with the meals and starters, but the staff brought me ketchup, a spicy orange dip and a really hot chilli sauce since I couldn't have the mayo. You'll also find a selection of booze, inclusing white, red or champagne sangria, various gins, beers, fresh juice drinks and shakes. We went on a saturday evening at around 8pm and it was quiet, but I have a feeling it gets busy, and it stays open until 3am, like many of the bars in the surrounding Bairro Alto streets on a Saturday night. It was a really pleasant experience and as we were treated really well, we'd definitely recommend you try it!
