- Superb little restaurant with an imaginative chef
This unassuming restaurant is tucked away in Wanaka. With a fairly overgrown garden you can't really see anything about the restauarant until you're inside - but this was totally worth the gamble. There was only one vegan main option on the menu (and 2 on the dessert menu) but that didn't matter because the meal was exquisite. Apparently a vegan owner and vegetarian chef which shows in the thought that went into preparing the food - ginger and chilli pan fried tofu with mediterranean veg. The dessert was equally delicious -chocolate coffe stout sorbet. So good I didn't want to stop eating. Expensive but worth every penny. I would give this 5 cows if the rating system allowed me to do so.
