  • quick, tasty street food in the middle of it all

For years, one of the hardest thing to do as a vegan was see all of those taco stands throughout the city cooking up their onions and with all of their great sauces, but knowing that there was nothing you'd want. This place and a few other new taquerias are really changing that. It's right at the corner of Puebla and Insurgentes, a few minutes from the metro. You can recognize it by the big cat on the stand. Friendly staff and delicious tacos and sandwiches. Note that vegan meats feature pretty heavily here, so those who aren't into soy or gluten won't be as happy. There isn't much space to sit, but people just improvise or sit around. Another thing they have is fantastic deserts... the cakes are fantastic and go down perfectly after some greasy/spicy/salty tacos.
