- Favourite cafe in the midlands
I've been a few times in the past and it's been good each time. The burgers with chunky chips are great and I like that there's a good range of vegan options. Although there's only a small selection of puddings they're all good - the choc brownie with fruit and ice cream was wonderful. They don't serve beer but there's no problem taking your own. It's a bit of a pain to find and the area (behind Moor St station) isn't the most salubrious but it doesn't seem to put people off - it was packed yesterday lunchtime. The staff are really pleasant too, and service is quick. I especially like that there's nothing hair-shirty about the place; they don't make a big deal about veganism, it's just a damned good cafe and reasonably priced.
