• Very disappointing, but would give a second chance

Stopped by the Five Horses Tavern on a road trip through the New England states (thank you Happy Cow app :]). This place is super cool and trendy for adults of all ages. It had a really good vibe, indoor and outdoor seating, and most importantly, was open late for us travellers and was still packed inside. Everything on the menu is well labelled with lots of vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options. I think a few more were added since visiting over the summer because at the time there were 2 vegan and gluten-free (together) options: the red curry and the mushroom enchiladas. Both were TERRIBLE. The curry was no flavour and all heat. Even my hot/spicy-food loving boyfriend could not eat it. The mushroom enchiladas were equally crappy and bland. Both meals were expensive too. We are not picky people but these meals were just terrible. If we lived in the area we would be trying some of the other options next time to give them feedback and a fair chance.
