- Weird concept
I go to this shop regularly and buy all my organic vegetables. They also have things like yeast flakes, nuts, grains, vegan chocolate etc. They are extremely friendly and very helpful. Also not very expensive compared to other shops in the city. They are weird when it comes to the organic bit: Most of the things they sell are organic. You will also be able to find non-organic things on the shelves and ALL of their fruit section in the rear fridge is NOT organic. So don't be too happy to find cheap organic apples or lemons. They are cheap, but not organic. Asked why that is, the owner explained that importing organic fruit in the small quantities they sell them at, is just too expensive. I understand the problem, it is still weird to sell non-organic stuff in your organic store though. They also do sell a lot of meat-based things. Also cruelty-food like canned foie gras. This is the main reason I never added them to HappyCow. Now that someone else did, I needed to comment. All that said: Should you shop here? Well, it is the only place that sells organic things in Sai Kung. So if you are a local there is not much else to choose from. That is why I shop there. If you are just passing through: No need to visit PS: The bootle shop next door sells vegan ice cream
