- Falafel in Mexico??
Yes, this is good stuff. We just found this place a couple days before leaving town, but have already been twice. The falafels are great, albeit a little more than I'd like to spend ($40), but it's still a great price. It's a nice little spot, just up the road from Cafe Santos (meaty place, but they have a good veggie burger and amazing portobello sandwich). To find Habibti, walk on that ped street that has the little arch with tables on it (Santos Cafe), going from Centro towards Embajadores. When you get to the end where you hit that weird busy road that has traffic driving on the left instead of the right, take a left and it's right there. It's also close to Cafe Tal, which is further up the road to Embajadores and is a good place to work. Their hot chocolates are incredible, as are their frappés.
