• The Earls of Sandwiches

Though a little heavy on the mock meat, Smith and Deli are filling a gap and providing much needed tasty deli-style sandwiches to the Vegan masses. The cakes and slices are also in a class of their own, albeit pricey. Expect to spend some serious cash when you clap eyes on the various cakes, slices and pastries you may have longed for since saying farewell to their less than kind counterparts. On a recent visit, I noticed the distinct lack of shelf and fridge price labels. When it was queried with a staff member, I was told they don't have time as stock changes so frequently. Aside from a couple of new cheeses, I don't believe much as changed since they first opened their doors. It is disappointing that this extremely popular establishment cannot make the effort with something so simple. Updated from previous review on 2015-10-04
