- A vegetarian surprise in boring Baotou
The cook didn't allow me to order plan rice but was not able to explain what he had in mind for me (my Chinese is poor, his English was even worse). Het surprised me with a plate of small delicious pancakes stuffed with all kinds of vegetables. I think I was the first foreigner to visit their restaurant.
