- It's Maoz, Jim, but not as we know it
Credit where credit's due - this place has improved since I first went a couple of years ago. Then I wrote "I've been to many Maoz across western Europe. This is similar but not as good. The salad bar is disappointing. Having visited about five times, the falafel is always, always cold.". Well, the falafel is now usually hot, maybe because the place is much busier - though it still doesn't taste of much. The salad bar has improved - the green and black chopped olives are a nice touch. The fries remain wilted and unappealing. I still go there sometimes, because Maoz remains an easy veggie staple. But it's difficult to choose Maoz over the excellent veggie burgers and dogs from Hot Dog Company opposite. Updated from previous review on 2017-07-18
