• Loving Hut - Honolulu

Located in a small shopping center, Loving Hut is open for Lunch from 10:30 am - 2:30 pm (last seating for lunch is 2:15) and Dinner from 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm (last seating for dinner is 8:46 pm). Guests who arrive after the last seating, but before closing time are welcome to order menu items for take out. Parking (limited) is in the shopping center at no cost. We started off with the Summer Rolls (4 for $6.50), Crispy Rolls (2 for $5.50 ) and Golden Nuggets (4 for $6.50) - all were very good. My husband was really excited to get here as he had looked at the menu online before we arrived. When he placed his order, he was told that they were out - no Rainbow Sandwich ... no bueno. He ended up ordering the Brooco Pua ($10.95) and I ordered the Sweet & Sour Hapa ($10.95). I loved my dish and my husband, thought his dish was alright, he tried mine and really like mine a lot so thumbs up on the Sweet & Sour Hapa. We were in the mood for dessert, however, we did not see any type of dessert or smoothies offered on their menus. I saw pictures submitted by other reviewers of cupcakes, but there were none offered on the night that we went. The establishment was clean and the staff were very friendly. This is one of the smaller Loving Huts that I've been to but there is seating for about a cozy 20 people. If you order take out - there is $.25 fee added to the order for each biodegradable container. ($.10 for small containers & $.50 for Pho takeout). While they accept credit cards, you cannot put a tip on your bill as the cash register was bought from a McDonald's and it does not have an option for tips. (Bring cash for tips) :)
