Whole Foods itself is higher priced than other supermarkets, but in this town, the organic produce and health food products they have are actually cheaper than the pricing in the local supermarkets and health food stores. Local produce stands sometime have cheaper organic though. They now have McDougall Style in prepared food = low or no fat vegan. And clearly marked which ones are with a purple text label. The staff is very friendly and there are lots of vegan prepared foods, even raw items. The new salad sushi with miso dressing is soooo good! They now carry organic breads, baked fresh. Huge selection of everything I would want. They ensure that all products are gmo free. That is why a few well known soy products are not carried here. Large selection of prepared foods, salad bar and hot food bar. Easy to return items, even w/o a receipt. Very knowledgeable staff & they will let you sample almost everything. Always samples out around the store and lots of events. Indoor and outdoor eating areas, clean restrooms & eating areas. Lots of local produce.
