- Best restaurant in Athens
I used to rely on friends to find good restaurants via Happy Cow - but after visiting Mama Tierra a few weeks ago when I was in Athens I just had to get it myself to make this review. If you are in Athens - you NEED to go here. The food is nothing but amazing and the staff is super friendly. They served the best hommous I've ever eaten and they offered to make the vegetarian dishes vegan just for us, great service! Make sure to eat your heart out when you're hear, both starter and main course - try the vegan shake as well, so good! The mushroom ragu is a must as well. And - the prices are really good. :) Joakim, from Sweden.
