- Inconsistent and risky
Vegan options are limited at this restaurant and some of the staff are a little unsure, however they did make a point of checking all of our concerns re animal ingredients with the chef before confirming their suitability (on our first visit). None of the vegetarian entrees are Vegan and only the bean curd soup can be prepared without animal ingredients. Do ask about the salads and stir fries, as they will mostly involve a change to dressings / sauces to make them Vegan. Enjoyed a Gang Keon Whan Puk (green curry), Thai Bean Curd Soup and Papaya Salad (specials menu). The meals were very well prepared and flavoursome. I would definitely consider returning to try some of the other items on the main course menu. Updated from previous review on Wednesday August 26, 2015 On our second visit, after specifically requesting no fish sauce in our mains, we tasted our Red Curry and Mussaman and noticed something was not quite right. Upon querying it with the staff, we discovered fish sauce had in fact been added. At the time of ordering, the waitress seemed disinterested and blasé so we were a bit concerned from the outset. I now have no confidence in the various staff knowing what is vegan / vegetarian or otherwise, hence the rating has gone from 4 stars to 1 star.
