  • Good, but improvement is needed

I've been to Legume twice since it opened. It is a very good thing that Uppsala got it second vegetarian restaurant - it's long overdue! The restaurant's style is simple. Not very much has been invested (so far?) in regards to interior decorating. This has consequences in regard to the acoustic conditions (it gets very loud). Now, on to the food. The buffé is rich, but lacks in seasoning. The falafel is quite hard and the spinach in the pasta rolls could without doubt get a double checking in regard to taste and texture - salt, anyone? The question of seasoning, salt och texture goes for pretty much everything, starting with the cold dishes such as the olive tapenade which at Legume was almost (I hate to say it) disgusting... I however adore the hummus and love to oven cooked potatoes. I would love to come back here for a third and fourth meal when the restaurant has had more time to settle and perfected their dishes and interior comfort.
