- Will Definitely Visit Again!
Having recently turned Vegan I was delighted to find this 100% vegan cafe on a day trip to Brighton. I have never before had a menu from which I could eat EVERYTHING! (I have been a vegetarian since 5) and I was quite overwhelmed by the choice! I had the margarita pizza (because I have quite simple tastes and I wanted to try vegan cheese) and quite honestly I was really surprised with the quality and texture and flavour so I bought some to take home with me too! The red velvet cake and brownie were delicious too! Even better than most of the dairy based cakes I have tried! I would have never known the difference! - especially the 'cream cheese' topping Great location near to the sea front! Only a couple downsides - our meals came very quickly! But our cakes which only required plating up took about 10 mins to come? Not really sure what they were waiting for? The staff weren't unfriendly but perhaps not the most welcoming people I've encountered. Lastly, this could be a massive plus for some people but the menu relied a lot on meat alternatives, most of which didn't appeal to me as I have never liked 'duck' 'hot dogs' or 'fish' but could be great for some people who enjoyed meat? I will definitely be returning next time I visit Brighton, bringing my dad who is gluten intolerant as there were some gf options too! Thanks for making my first proper vegan eat out a good one! :)
