- Great Service, Okay Food
I was excited to visit Arcadia while visiting Edmonton for business. The menu is all vegan, and I tried the YEG Unite Donair on green onion cakes. This is my first time in Edmonton and I live in the US, so it was my first time trying either donair or green onion cakes vegan or otherwise. It was tasty, but I will say it was very salty and the seitan was in crispy (almost crunchy) strips, not tender and chewy like I am used to. However, the service was great, I chatted with the two guys working and they gave great beer recommendations and were just all around pleasant to talk to. The beer is all from Alberta, and the Ribstone Creek White IPA I had was great. Updated from previous review on Thursday July 23, 2015
