• Lovely Food in a Lovely Setting

Orion in a famous yoga centre and retreat which has been well established for many years. It is located in a beautiful bay just close to Sri Thanu with sea views from both sides. It is a wonderful place to relax. I was happy to see that since my last visit a few years ago they are now fully vegan (they used to sell some bee products.) They have some really interesting fruit shakes with lots of wonderful things in them such as cacao, hemp, dates etc. The food menu is actually quite unique compared to the other vegan restaurants in the area, they offer Thai food, western food and even raw food. The menu is extremely well labelled with what is raw, gluten free etc. Find smoothie bowls, omelette, burgers, sandwiches and noodle dishes. The menu is quite extensive. It's not particularly cheap but it's no different to the other western vegan restaurants in the area. It's one of the most beautiful places to sit and enjoy food and if you come in the evening you can enjoy the sunset. Updated from previous review on 2015-07-10
