  • I think they're having some growing pains :-)

I went here a couple of times when I was last in Lima. The first time I went, the meal of the day was raw/vegan tacos (served in lettuce leafs, not a tortilla) and those were good. Then they brought the main plate which was hummus and falafels. I thought there was too much hummus and not enough falafel, plus the hummus did not taste good at all. It almost tasted like they added puree of eggplant, and had very little garbanzos. I'm not sure what the drink was, but not really good either. The second time I went, I arrived at 115pm, which is right in the middle of the lunch rush in Lima. They were already out of the meal of the day, and didn't really have anything else that sounded interesting (except for expensive a la carte options). By the way, the meal was quinoa with mixed vegetables. When the cook saw that the quinoa was selling out, then just make more... it only takes 15 minutes to cook quinoa. I just decided to eat elsewhere that day. I was reluctant to go back a third time because I couldn't count on them having the meal of the day actually available (they usually post it on their Facebook page). The restaurant is only a few months old, so maybe they are still going through some growing pains. I hope I will have a better experience there next time I'm in Lima.
