- Pleasantly Surprised
As a life long avid meat eater, I used to scorn at the idea of vegan food. I could always enjoy the one off veggie meal, but felt that it could never live up to a good old meaty feast. I also had this strange idea that a vegan lunch wasn't substantial enough to fill me up until my next snack, let alone dinner. To me,food lacking in animal products, primarily meat was boring and therefore not worth eating. I had these strange misconceptions of a vegan lifestyle being expensive and full of tasteless, cold greens, grains and weird looking beans. Rabbit food I used to call it. It wasn't until I discovered the Honey Hive Vegan Cafe that I realised how horribly wrong I'd been all that time. These guys seriously opened my eyes to the delicious, endless possibilities that can come from all Vegan ingredients. with something different every day, you can expect amazing vibrant and wonderful tastes, with various Caribbean, European and African influences; that will leave you salivating and satisfy your hunger! Inexpensive prices (with discounts for students), a warm friendly environment (and of course the great tasting food) has made me a regular customer at the Honey Hive Vegan Cafe. Everyone I know who tries it, loves it first time. Vegan or non-vegan (like myself) you'll love this place and it's food. Updated from previous review on Monday July 06, 2015
