Update: Still ecstatic they are on the waterfront but got a spicy peanut bowl yesterday and it wasn't very appetizing. First off the price is high for the amount you get and it was cold and basically mush. My friend got the coconut curry bowl and her sauce was flavorless and basically liquid. Not very appetizing. I am beyond ecstatic there's now actually a place I can eat on the Halifax Waterfront. Heartwood introduces it's second location in Halifax, a cute little shack where they offer healthy fast food including their famous Heartwood bowls, smoothies, other drinks, cookies, a hummus platter and salads. It's so refreshing to see a fully vegan spot by the water. Although, Heartwood's main restaurant offer dairy cheese, this location is fully vegan as of this moment.
