- the veg side of Argentina
after all those days with empanadas, pasta and pizza, I finally found the vegetarian heaven in Argentina :) as I don't speak any Spanish, the waiter kindly took the time to explain the menu to me - the dishes change according to what is available (season etc.) salads cost 55 pesos, mains 65 pesos and prices of desserts range between 30 and 65 pesos. they also have freshly blended fruit juices. the pumpkin which I had was incredibly good, flavourful and the salad was fresh. the dessert was impressive, the 'compot de higos' had a lovely texture, the figues were not too sweet and the cashew cream has changed my mind about cashew (wasnt a big fan of them). i was told that the honey which they use is actually not honey (but I didn't understand what it is) it tasted a bit like maple syrup. I also liked the interior of the place, the colours and the 'open kitchen' recommend going there! the food is worth the money
