• Punk pizza perfection

I love this place. I loved it even more when I was a drinker, because it's very much a bar atmosphere and they have an excellent beer list, but I still love it now. The punk rock-skate aesthetic of the place is genuine and makes me feel really comfortable. The staff are awesome and the service is always great, even when it is packed. I don't know how they do it, but they must have some super efficient cooks in back. I have been here many times, both when it is slow and in the midst of a mad rush, and have never had to wait an unreasonable amount of time for my food. The vegan options for pizza are excellent, with Teese cheese and various mock meats (the sausage is best, IMO), and there are a few other vegan items on the menu, as well as occasional vegan specials. The fried edamame, while roundly defeating the purpose of edamame as a light healthy snack, are amazing. My favorite pizzas on the menu are the Tilt Mode and the Pepe, with or without mock sausage. Pretty much any pizza on the menu can be made vegan and customized as you like it. They also have a vegan cinnamon donut twist that comes with a glaze dipping sauce-- fantastic! All other vegan and vegetarian items are clearly marked on the menu. I haven't tried their (newer) brunch menu yet, but I am reminded now that I must do so. The vegan hash sounds spectacular. They also serve vegan pancakes. Looks like another trip back is in order soon! (Also they have skeeball!)
