- Vegan friendly healthful choices
This is another branch of a healthful though pricy chain of quick sit-down cafeteria style eating. However, the environment is much more modern and relaxing than a cafeteria. The menu is on a huge wall as you walk in and bear left. It can be quite overwhelming, but if you are vegan, you will likely hone in on just a handful of items. The best choice is a smoothie or the Super Vegan salad. There is also a fabulous whole wheat vegan wrap. However, you should know that just about half of the items can be veganized!!!!! Buffalo wrap, black bean quinoa bowl, Memphis or Baja or Southwest salads... There's already a green vegan wrap. Lots of healthful ingredients here that I adore- avocado, quinoa, chia, hemp, kale, spinach, yum! The beverages are amazing, but not cheap. Opt for smoothies with soy milk and soy protein powder, not whey. My fav is the Blue Line cause I love blueberries! The juices are of course all vegan, and they are delightfully cold-pressed and raw! Yum! I am a fan of all green juices, but the Beetbox is quite nice. The smoothies can be better if you can have nuts, like almond milk!! Again, be careful of the prices, but other than that go crazy with your meal! Great for lunch, snack, or a light dinner. If it had better hours and lower prices, I would be here more often. It is delicious!
