- Such a cool place!
So happy to have discovered this place, it's a very cute little restaurant ran by two sisters. You can see that all the furniture and everything was picked with love, and there is a very friendly vibe. The kitchen is open to the dining room, it really feels sort of like home! I went for lunch and they were proposing a menu that was vegan - pumpkin soup and entree: ckickpea and broccoli spicy stew with whole grain rice. It was super tasty and came with an organic homemade icetea, everything for 50 pesos (4 dollars). My colleague also ordered an upside-down apple pie (also vegan) and it was just delicious, with a whole grain crust too. They also organize sometimes small gigs at night and litterature events that are announced on their facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/cocina.carmela/timeline ----------------------- times: Tues: 20:00–01:30 Wed - Sat: 12:30–15:30 20:00–01:30 Updated from previous review on Saturday May 23, 2015
