- Great Food! Great Juices!
Definitely visit Ital in Paradise if you are looking for a tasty vegan meal in St. Croix. There is a fish dish on the menu, but the vegan food is clearly marked. I have been there twice now and enjoyed both of the "vegan plates" that the chef made. The fried lentils and tofu were nicely balanced with well-seasoned rice, plantains and a fresh salad. The food is nourishing, healthy, and delicious, and the portions are generous. Make sure to try one of their juices too, and eat in: the cafe is cute, air-conditioned, and centrally located in Christiansted. Ital in Paradise is one of the only vegan-friendly places in Christiansted open for dinner (most only serve lunch). I've already been to the restaurant twice, and I have plans to visit again!
